To bring good jobs to our community we need:

1.  Good quality of life - which we have

2.  Good communication (phone and Internet)  - which we have

3.  A willing, well-trained, and energtic work force (which we're building in our schools)

4. Good transportation (land and air) which we're building

OUR PART IN THIS EFFORT IS TO CONTINUE IMPROVEMENT (BUT NOT EXPANSION) OF OUR EXCELLENT SMALL AIRPORT.

The primary use of our airport is for tourism.  A close second is for commuters (live here, work elsewhere and live elsewhere but work here).  It is also often used for recreational flying, both by private planes and by gliders. Another very important use is for local business executive travel and to quickly bring in specialists to repair complex  equipment. To attract good, quiet, clean  job-providing businesses a good airport. is essential.

WE DO NOT SEEK ANY EXPANSION OF THE  RUNWAY BUT WE DO URGE THAT IT BE MADE SAFE FOR THE PLANES THAT LAND  THERE.
